People who played in the B1G and are on TV now and are not homers but don’t trash their schools trying to act like both like ZOMG IM NOT A HOMER and also like a bullshit insider or draw the ire of fans (for that specific reason, some fans hate them for other reasons):

Chris Spielman
Joey Galloway
Dustin Fox
Todd Blackledge
Gary Danielson
Matt Millen
Jake Butt

Etc. Etc. Etc.

There were many others from other places too…RGIII, etc.

Basically, the only one who has acted like him is….him.

I think it was Riccordati who recently mentioned that Herbstreit did not leave Columbus due to the small, but vocal minority of Ohio State fans that were harassing him, but rather because of a local scandal that Herbstreit was involved in. Does anyone know the backstory to this? I was assuming it was an affair. Anyone know?

It was actually in this video that you posted earlier this year. I'm not sure who these guys are since I don't follow the local Buckeye coverage folks. People in the comments section of the video on YouTube are also asking why Herbstreit actually moved from Columbus as well - the video introduces the notion and then leaves it as a mystery.
