I will also add for fun that Herbstreit's dad and my dad grew up together. And my dad's best friend to this day hates Jim Herbstreit for stealing his girlfriend when they were young.

What the???

Anyone who says Oregon was/is soft is an idiot or just not paying attention. It cheapens OSU's accomplishments as well. Jeez :shake:

What people hate about Fake Buckeye is his over-the-top treatment of OSU. Sometimes it is Mark May-esque.

Dropping OSU in his poll after beating an SEC team in a bowl game?
Participating in the character assassination during the Alamo Bowl halftime?
Publicly accusing two OSU athletes of wrongdoing without evidence and when proven wrong, no apology?
Calling OSU's title game losses to 2 pretty good teams (one virtually at home) the "lowest point of the program"?
Bringing up said losses after a dominating run in the inaugural playoffs but not the bitch-slapping of the same Oregon program in the Rose Bowl AFTER those events?
Saying he would not send his children to OSU?
Saying California (who have more than their fair share of pollution) "HD" or "Technicolor" compared to Ohio?

Jesus, dude, did you not live through those/skim this thread/not pay attention?

Well, Herbie did prematurely call Les Miles to Michigan, which nixed the handshake agreement and caused Michigan to hire RichRod instead. So he's got that on the plus side of the equation.

I think that Herbie is more of a Tressel hater than an Ohio State hater, but he really has said/done some things that have put the entire program in a bad light.

And the reason he hated Tress is because JT cut his stream of info out of the program. Info he used to further his career.
