If you go back and rewatch the ending celebrations after the game is over, you can hear Herbstreit sniffling in the background, and Fowler has to take over the duties of commentator for a solid 10 mins or so. Maybe Kirk indeed does care about the buckeyes lol

KH probably had a case of "the vapors" after watching his Ducks get their waddling asses handed to them. Proud as hell of the job our team and coaches did this year. Not proud of alumni that make it their goal to rip into OSU every chance possible so as to further his career. He'd look good on QVC selling Duck & SEC swag.
