ESPN paid him to go on for several minutes about how depressing Ohio is comparing it to black and white television versus California's color?
I'm firmly in the camp that thinks ESPN plugs its business interests (SEC) and been called paranoid and conspiracy theorist for it... but this is right out.

And that clip perfectly illuminates my position on Herbie. I'd still love him if he was only a shitty broadcaster. I'd still love him if he were just "unbiased". I fucking hate him because he's slobbering all over the flavor of the week and begging fans to put to rest the "Oregon is soft" narrative because of one game against a supremely overrated FSU. Then in the same postseason he brings up tOSU's "embarrassing" NC losses after we win the fucking title by running over, by, and through the Oregon team he doesn't want you calling soft.
