Hope the kid makes some NFL money first, even if it's practice squad money. Not sure too many ppl could survive on $30k GA money right off the bat.

But boy it would be awesome to have Kenny teach JT Barrett how to run the option.
Was thinking the same path. If he has that fire to still play I hope he gives it a shot for some payday.

If he's willing to give it up and go straight into coaching, then he is a special special kid. I know it's hard to give up that competitive feeling and while coaching keeps you close to the game, it's not the same as the field (imo). Either way...he has made a positive impact on the university. Special Buckeye.

UM has a grand plan for Kenny. With Kenny's personality and charisma, he will be able to reach many that would have stood in the backgrounds and will help them not only be better players but better people. This will be fun to watch but we won't know it's happening unless somehow another Kenny emerges from the ranks and exudes his influence on teams going forward. Urban Meyer is building his future teams and Kenny is a key part of a team that knows how to unite. Great intangibles.

I hope Kenny is around for a long time to come. It's apparent that he sees the game and is able to disassemble it as a a great quarterback does. Manning like.(Peyton) I'd have to think there's some props to his dad there. If he gets a shot at the next level, I hope he makes the most of it. It's not hard for me to say that he is my favorite player. And he wears 13. Which was always my number. Hopefully we'll see him behind the mic, coordinating an OSU team to a national championship someday. Who knows, maybe more.

.
... except half of the other graduates in his class! 8D Heck, people take internships like this, at the pinnacle of their chosen field, for NO money. Going right from college to one of today's most successful coaching trees? Awesome!

But yeah, even a year or two making some NFL money is a nice detour even if coaching is the ultimate goal.

The world is pretty much Kenny G's oyster.
