QB Kenny "the old righty" Guiton (WR Coach Wisconsin)

While I'm not one to call for a quarterback battle at this point but I think Kenny serves as a great back up.

He's more than capable of running our offense, hell his passing is arguably better than Braxtons. I know Braxton is symptom free but I wouldn't be opposed to giving KG quite a few series Saturday.

No arguing about it from me. It's the truth. What Guiton has over Braxton in the passing dept, BM trumps that with his running ability. I also think Miller's throwing is considerably improved from last season (not nearly as many wounded duck passes). Whether that be a change in throwing motion, or just more throwing experience.

Completely agree.

Hard work needs to be rewarded, and the kid obviously has the "game" to get it done. If for no other reason, give Brax a break every now and then. And, give the opposing "D" a different look.

THIS. I'm still all for a set of plays where both QB's are on the field at the same time. A potential Guiton-to-Miller TD strike sounds VERY intriguing to me.

Oh abso-freakin-lutely!

It could also be a way to give Brax a small break by using him as a decoy somehow while the play goes the other way, just to give their D some different looks and several fits.

Brax goes wide for a screen while KG play fakes to Carlos up the gut and tosses a strike down field or in the flat opposite from Brax. Of course I know nuttin bout play callin so...

The possibilities are endless with a play-set having both QB's on the field. You could even throw out the possibility of a reverse type play where the first hand off goes to Miller, and he double reverses to Fields, Spencer, or Smith. Going even further, there's the possibility of a double reverse LOOK, but instead of the second hand off, Miller fakes it and hits Stoney on a bomb down field.

Of course it's easy to speculate without seeing any execution of said plays, but damn it's fun to do just that!

The Legend of Kenny grows.

During the call-in show today, Urban mentioned being informed afterwards that in the midst of the defensive series between Kenny's INT and getting back on the field for the game winning drive, Kenny grabbed Cardale and instructed him to have his helmet ready, pointed where he needed to be on the sideline, and told him what his responsibilities were and what he needed to look for in Purdue's defense in case KG would have to leave the game.

Future coach, no doubt.

I missed that part...that is awesome. I only heard a little, but I was already impressed when Urban mentioned that Kenny was always getting mental reps and preparing for what he needed to do, and this week he saw Cardale doing the same things.

He might not get on the field much, but what an asset to have on the team.
