QB Justin Zwick (B1G Champion, National Champion)

I think that JZ is a class act. We can all take a lesson in humility from him. It was/is a very tough situation for him. But, he handled it with grace and integrity. Loyalty goes a long way! He is part of a great team and I'm sure when he looks back at his stay at Ohio State, he'll remember it as the best time of his life

Good Luck Justin Zwick

I'm sure was tough for him to accept the role of backup quarterback at Ohio State; expecially when enrolling he had "all the expectations in the world" of being the starter for several years, etc. He even made some calls to other recruits encouraging therm to join him at Ohio State. Who would have guessed that there would be another player in his recruitment class that played the same position and would go on to win the Heisman Trophy?

I'll always remember his "gutsy" performance in the 2004 Alamo Bowl.

I very proud that Justin Zwick is a Buckeye and I wish him the best of luck with an NFL career.

Justin has been a great example of a team player. While his playing career may not have gone as he had planned. He has never compained and excepted his role like a man. He also is walking away from OSU with a degree from the Fisher College of Business free of charge...

This can not have been an easy four years, but Justin comes out of it with my respect and I'm sure that of many other Buckeye fans. He never pouted. He never bitched over spilt milk. He never took his case to the media and he never stopped working to be the best quarterback he could be.

But then I believe he's the kid in the movie Tigertown who lambasts the voters for failing to pass a school levee telling them there's more to school than football. What elese would you expect from a kid who had his priorities in order at such a tender age?

...and I really do hope he gets to lead the Buckeyes down the field at least one last time in the BCS Bowl as well.

And by that you mean you hope we're up by 24 pts. in the 4th quarter, enabling JZ to enter the game while giving Troy (and other key departing Seniors) a standing ovation from the fans as Tressel "calls off the dogs" one by one...rather than some unforseen event/injury requiring the need of our backup QB, RIGHT?!? :tic: :wink2:

If that's what you meant, then I wholeheartedly agree...it would be very cool for Justin, and I'd love to see it as well.

I don't know about 24 points but that is exactly what I meant.

Zwick deserves this. He has earned everything he can get. He stuck with tOsu for yearsand he had his bad moments and his good ones.
He has paid his dues and now gets his reward. It wouldn't surprise me to see him make it big in the pros.
Good Luck Justin.
