QB Justin Fields (2019-20 B1G Off POY, 2020 Silver Football, 2019 B1G CCG MVP, Pittsburgh Steelers)

Dum bass coach went for it on 4th and 1 in field goal range. Had Justin attempt to draw the Broncos offsides on the prior play. After the timeout, the idiot decides to still go for it instead of the sure kick. Denver drives the field, kicks a FG. Ensuing possession, Justin throws the pick. Had the ball at the 50 yard line with like 30 seconds left, but was in a 3 and 13 situation.

Bears coaching staff needs to be fired into the Sun. Absolutely criminal.

Fields was like 27/28 for 300 yards and lead his team to a FG win. A defensive minded head coach wants to go for it on 4th-and-1 in a tie game with a chip shot FG in two minute and a QB that needs confidence.

Get stuffed, Denver drives and kicks a FG, now Justin has to rally with 35 seconds left and forces an INT.

You single-handedly swing Justin’s confidence from 100 to 0 with that call. And you’re the defensive minded HC that is telling your team you trust THIS offense more than the defense.

I really think one of his problems---besides just The Bears and everything about them---is that he's just such a different QB than most guys today. He's just not a get it out quick, lot of short passes QB. But that's sort of the de facto NFL offense today. If he gets forced to do that he isn't going to look good. You would think at the highest level there would be creativity and an understanding that not all guys all the same.

Yeah he's more of Mahommes hold the ball for a deep shot or run around style QB
