Trade Fields to ATL for premium picks, including #8 overall this year. He gets to go home, play in a dome, and the hell away from the Bears.

Bears and Colts do an Eli Manning-Phillip Rivers type deal given Irsay's open fascination with Bryce Young. Young is small and never played in the cold. He goes to a dome and the Bears get the more Josh Allen-type on a rookie deal. Will Levis flop? Who cares.

Just a scenario where the Bears can fill a lot of holes and Fields ends up in a better place. Won't happen, of course.

It won’t. I can’t tell you how many times over the last two years I openly rooted for him to have a season-ending hang nail injury until they had an OL that could block and a couple of WRs who could catch the fucking ball.

Openly rooting for things like that in bars in Chicago tends to get a lot of laughs, head nods and a few snarky side-eyes.

It’s 100% worth it to have him in a functional organization. Chicago or not.

Dream of what he would do in an offense like KC… just for a second, dream. Then wake up to our fucking reality. The Bears will soon get exactly what they deserve. If the choose wrong, I go back on the rooting for a hang nail injury through his rookie contract so we can get him the hell out of here. For now, I pray for his sake, they choose wisely.

Tua 2.0 and maybe hurt more trying to run. It is just the state of the NFL. If you aren't Allen's size you are going to get your ass kicked by NFL defenses without protection (unfair protection for the Brady's/Rogers types.)

I think he's one of the few QBs in the NFL who can make that group of offensive players actually score points. His running ability is historic. Only Lamar and Michael Vick have done what Fields did last year.

Bryce Young can't do that, I can't understand why they'd want to trade one for the other.

But yeah I'm with you guys. For Justin's sake, I hope he goes almost anywhere else. lol
