Meh....that sounds like sour grapes because MH Jr didn't work out and give them something else to talk about...in my IMO....

It won’t be an insane battle IMO because QBs will leave when it’s obvious what’s what.

Especially wont be an insane battle next year.

Let’s be honest. Someone or probably two are leaving. And if Julian emerges as QB2 by the end of the season then it’s even more assured to happen.

If Marvs talent, from his release, his hand work at the LOS, eye, shoulder and hip separation, his contested catch rate, catch radius, play structure/off script work, route leveraging, etc etc (I truly could go on and on) wasn't evident to someone watching even when the ball *didn't* go his way, then those casters and tiktokers need to retire from doing their evals.

Either that or they're just talking for the sake of talking. Which, let's be real, is 90% of "content". Talking a lot but saying very little.

MHJ is about as easy an eval as you get.

I would be very surprised if one doesn't leave by the beginning of the season, and a second doesn't leave by the end of the season. And maybe a third is gone by the beginning of 2025.

Depends on the ego. If you're not QB1 to start the season, do you play for you and your brothers? After the season, that's different. If it's Howard, most should stay. QB's are the star and get praise and blame for the outcomes. If Sayin is QB2, I could see both DB and LK bolting. Also, NIL has a hand in this stupid shit. Remember when players waited for their chance? So props to DB and LK for sticking around for now.

I agree. If Howard is named QB1, I think that's the only chance for all 4 others to stay. Would Howard stay if someone else is QB1? (Note, that I don't know any of these 5 dudes, so I don't know where their "hearts" are.)
I think I read somewhere that Brown is happy to be a Buckeye. Will he still be happy if he's QB3 at the end of the year? Maybe... Maybe not.
And someone else here said that Keinholz is way better than what we witnessed in the bowl game.
If they were ranked by age and experience, and they each get 1 year before moving on... will #5 be happy to wait that long?
I agree - props to Brown and Keinholz. True Buckeyes, to my knowledge.

Agree. I said that wrong. What they were saying was he's really good but the QB play was also bad on the tape so that was also a factor

This is Julian’s thread so I’ll say this.

I expect Howard to be named the starter but later in fal camp. I expect Day to say something like “it’s a battle between Julian and DB for the QB2 role. And I expect both will alternate as QB2

Now if that happens the rest will be dictated by how all 3 of those guys play. And there could be a shuffling in season depending on how they produce. This is a NC type team and Day and Kelly won’t mess around.

I just don’t expect LK to play much (at QB anyway) and I definitely don’t expect Air to play. What these 2 will do I have no clue.

What DB will do if he isn’t QB1 or even QB2 I have no clue.

Sayin ain’t going anywhere IMO and Howard is a one year rental so it’s not hard to envision some likely outcomes.
