QB Julian "Just" Sayin (Official Thread)

Julian Sayin gives Ohio State football fans a glimpse into the future

The Ohio State football team was able to play four quarterbacks against Western Michigan. One of them could be the future of the Buckeyes.

The Ohio State football team pulverized Western Michigan on Saturday night. They won the game 56-0 and the defense looked as dominant as ever. On offense, the Buckeyes were able to show that they can start faster than they did in Week 1 after they scored a touchdown on their first three drives.

One of the perks of beating a team so badly is that a lot of different player get to play in the game. That's exactly what happened for the Ohio State Buckeyes. A lot of different guys got to play and show what they can do. It was really nice to see some young guys get snaps.

One of the guys who got snaps is third-string quarterback Julian Sayin. Sayin was the number-one quarterback recruit in the 2024 class and transferred to Ohio State this offseason after Nick Saban retired. He has elite talent and could be the future starter for this team.

Sayin will be one of the guys who is fighting for the starting spot next season when Howard is gone. He'll be fighting with Brown, Lincoln Kienholz, Air Noland, and incoming freshman Tavien St. Clair. Two of those guys are going to transfer next season. Sayin proves that he has a shot to be the guy who stays and leads.

Juist sayin': Yeah, the QB1 competition for 2025 will be interesting. The coaches have to give all 5 QBs a fair shot; however, I'm really hoping Sayin wins out. I just be believe he has the biggest upside and is the "real deal", etc. It would be great if no QB transferred in 2025; but that probably won't be the case.
