QB Julian "Just" Sayin (Official Thread)

Need to figure out the OL. Stockpiling stars is sweet but we need the big uglies to make the motor go.

Another tackle would be great - but Luke in year 2 should be ready for RT, move Fryer to his natural position at G, and Seth at C...that is imo likely 3 upgrades right there. A competent center should hopefully ease the burden on Jackson as well (keyword - hopefully).

Sayin plans to enroll at Ohio State soon and will participate in the Buckeyes' spring practice. Sayin left Alabama after enrolling there in early January. Saban retired soon after Sayin's arrival.

"Incredibly excited to join the team here at Ohio State," Sayin told ESPN on Sunday. "I held this program in high regard throughout my entire recruiting process and am looking forward to learning from some of the most talented players and coaches in college football and contributing to our team's success."

I have no idea if sayin is the answer, but Day owes zone six the absolute best QB he can possibly find. I am all for loyalty but there’s multiple loyalties involved.
No room for feelings in business.

Totally agree, He not only owes getting the best possible QB for "Zone 6"; he owes it to the rest of the team, his coaches/staff, the school, the students, the alumni, the fans, the donors, and most of all for the fulfillment of his duties as the head coach.

Yeah exactly… just have to give yourself the best chance to win.

I’m in the minority here but I think the OL will be good with what we have (although I think 1 more portal OL Would be nice for options). I think Montgomery is ready to start and he can do that at RT which allows Fryar to move back where he fits best at RG.

agreed here.

We just have to be better than last year and I think regardless we will be able to do that by miles. We add a portal OT (like the kid from Washington) though and we are really in a position to have a very good OL.
