QB Joe Burrow (transfer to LSU, 2019 Heisman Winner, National Champion, Cincinnati Bengals)

And yet with all of these advantages, they can’t make a QB look good. Hmmmmmmm.
Nope, but they can make practically every other position on the team look good. And even with a below average QB last year they went 9-4 with just talent. Even with Burrow they're probably not beating Bama, but they could finish 2nd in the SECW. At UC, they were 4-8, and don't have the talent to trot out, they have to outscheme teams, and Burrow probably would get close to bowl eligible(maybe). I can see UC having another 6-7 loss season, if I were Burrow, why would I want that headache for the last 2 years of my collegiate football career

You can stop making it about UC vs LSU any time now. That's not what anybody is arguing.
What other 2 teams would be argued about? None others were relevant. You can bring any other schools you want, but none matter but these 2.

I know "off season" but really, who gives a fuck?

He's gone.
Who made you the boss of the off season

And on top of that, if LSU doesn't have the coaches this year, their Admin will back up multiple Brinks trucks to find someone who can

um, we just fired the guy with the highest winning % in school history and voluntarily hired Ed fucking Orgeron rather than “seriously pershing Jimbo” or “getting into a bidding war with texas over Herman”.

and our coaching search included zero people other than the ones mentioned above.

we then fired a well respected OC after one year and promoted a guy from TE coach to OC that hasn’t even attempted to install an offense since before anyone on the current roster was even born.

there is almost no way possible for UC to be even in the ballpark of that level of incompetency, let alone worse.

Really? Did you see how the genius of Tommy Tuberville finessed millions out of UC by barely using a playbook or recruiting? He used leftovers from Butch Jones to get by, and even after he resigned The UC faithful thought they were too good to hire an up and coming HC in Fickell, because they wanted another washed up big name HC. UC can absolutely raise that level of incompetency. And on top of that they struggle to fill a stadium that is almost a joke to FCS schools

i’m at around a 6.

still waaaaaaay too many unknowns.

for the first time in my life, i have no clue who is going to be the premier RB.

a school the gave itself the moniker DBU has 3 corners on a hilly right now.

we rank somewhere around 122 in the nation in returning production from last season.

a season that saw us lose 4 games in the easiest schedule we’ve played in at least 20 years.

and now we going into the potentially toughest schedule we’ve had since 2011.

and Ed Orgeron is our HC.

the same Tubby that has as many winning seasons just at Cincy as Ed O has in his entire head coaching career?

even with Ed having the fortune of TWICE taking over top 10 rosters mid-season.

the same tommy tubercille that won as many SEC games his first season at Ole Piss as Ed O did in 3 years there?

seriously. we hired Ed mother-fucking Orgeron.

there is literally no other FBS school that we can ridicule about coaching hires ever again.

we were promised an extensive search, money would be no object, and we were getting a championship caliber HC.

we got Orgeron

we were promised he was going to hire the best Coordinators in the country and modernize our offense.

we got a guy that hasn’t installed an offense since i was playing High School ball in the mid 90s.

we were promised the best QB coach money could buy.

we got a guy that has been on our offensive staff for 8 years now. And that’s 8 years of putrid QB play.

and i actually hate that Steve E is probably going to take the heat for this crap fest.

guy is a true Tiger.
played QB for us many moons ago, still lives in Baton Rouge, a great recruiter, and absolutely loves LSU.

he just doesn’t need to be an OC

You always can ridicule Tennessee 8D

And in the midst of all of that LSU still got 9 wins last year. UC got 4... Burrow is still getting a very good O line and WR Corp. maybe not NC caliber, but 2nd in the SEC west and another 9 wins is possible. So you got that

Do you even SEC, bro?

Seriously though, great post, I agree.

Will root for Joe no matter what, but hate that he ended up in the SEC. That being said, beat Bama Joe.
At first I was just hoping he wouldn't go SeC. Hate the see that conference get better. Even went to a team that is insanely talented with their one flaw (costing them 2-3 games a season) is their passing game. I wanted to see him go to a pass first B12 or Pac team where he could put up some insane stats and go pro.
Now that I sit back and think about it here's what I come up with:
I got no beef with LSU.
LSU is going to kick Miami's ass at home week 1 (my god do I hate everything to do with that city).
They get Georgia and Bama at home and will probably going 1-1 in those games giving either the future SEC east or west champ a loss. I think they beat Auburn as well.
They got a lot better with the transfer, but that coaching staff would find a way to loose 2 games they should win even if they could manage a Tom Brady or Aaron Rodgers transfer. So low risk we meet them in a NY6 game.
BEST OF LUCK JOE!!!
