QB J.T. Barrett (B1G FOY, All American, Silver Football Award, 3x B1G QBOY, National Champion)

Putting my father hat on, I would tell JT that the answer - no matter the nature of the screwup - is always transparency, responsibility, and accountability.

Putting on my degenerate fan hat, I say we need the Tallahassee PD to come to Cbus and show our cops how this is done.

I was thinking earlier today that if the CPD were more like the Tallanasty PD they would have told him to go on home and given him another beer for the road.

In all seriousness, though, I am pleasantly surprised to hear it will only be a 1 game suspension. I still suspect that he's "lost" the starting position pending performance in practice the next few weeks.

Shit I saw this happen with Bellisari my freshman year. I saw the cops escort him back in his Deer or Rein Deer costume on Halloween my freshman year... '99

Serious question, as I rarely drink and have never actually seen/encountered a checkpoint: How do they usually work, at least in C-bus? They say they noticed him attempting to avoid the checkpoint, but unless they screwed up traffic flow to make sure everyone driving in that area went through it, I can't imagine it would actually be that hard to avoid one without looking suspicious if you put even a tiny bit of thought into it.

OSUK i also belong to what i call the "parent club". any kid in my town (poughkeepsie) that is in college here from 'out of state' gets my unconditional help. anyway, with the "hat" on, my take on the best outcome: jt realizes he is not old enough to handle captain responsibility, and steps down. what was joe burger doing on that night? perhaps he is more fitting of that role.
