I don't think anyone questions this guy's heart and I hope he gets good reps/minutes this spring (practices and spring game). My question with Brown is that we haven't ever seen play that corresponds to what he says. He couldn't beat out McCord and looked clunky when he got actual reps. The Cotton Bowl was his chance to show something and, absolutely, the O-line let him down and then he had the injury, but even accounting for those factors he still didn't look like what you want from a tOSU qb (nor did Lincoln, maybe for different reasons). If he doesn't make a hard run this spring and win it outright going into or early in the fall, his shot to start will have passed. Howard will have it this year and one of the younger guys will take it after that.
