At this point, a one step down program like Cincy or Marshall are his best option. Competition is less. Won't have to compete against some high priced recruit who is the "future of the program."His best option, in my opinion, would have been to Utah. The way Rising plays is very similar to how I think Devin would be best used and they have great coach.
McCord had a golden arm. Frankly, I never saw much with Devin. If he’d stayed healthy he could have been a change of pace with his athleticism. But he was nowhere near a 4* talent.True, but I figured he could easily fall into the starting spot at Cal. Especially if McCord could win the starting spot at Syracuse.

I’m not talking about at OSU. Once McCord won the position, Brown was only going to see action due to injury. But at a school like Cal, one would think that a OSU transfer could win the position.
