QB CJ Stroud (All B1G, 2022 B1G QB of the Year, All-American, NFL OROY, Houston Texans)

Stroud’s Passing Efficiency FBS Rankings

Overall: #1

1st qtr: #2
2nd qtr: #11
3rd qtr: #5
4th qtr: insufficient attempts

1st dn: #24
2nd dn: #8
3rd dn: #1 by > 65 points
4th dn: insufficient attempts

Gap between CJ and #2 in 3rd down PE is over 65 points, nationally.

In the B1G, the gap between CJ and #2 is over 125 points.

Both of those are beyond ridiculous, 6 games into the season.
So what you’re saying is, Stetson Bennett will win the Heisman

CJ is now the odds on favorite in current Heisman odds (-130 to -140), meaning you now need to bet $130 or $140 to win $100 for him winning the Heisman.

The other guys with odds between 10-1 and 16-1 are Hooker from Tennessee, Williams from USC, Bryce Young, DTR from UCLA, and Blake Corum (16-1).

Are you kidding? Get on the Tanner Morgan train, loser. Bennett may be the scrappy 7th year Duke point guard, but PFF knows that Tanner is the flashy, but technically sound shooting guard that can carry the team. That's why they have him rated as the nation's #1 QB. Makes me nostalgic for 2017 when they (ACCURATELY) had Alex Hornibrook at #1. And he ended up going #7 in the Brevard county real estate agent draft.

Stroud ranking update:

While Stroud was idle, Will Levis of Kentucky closed the gap on 3rd down passing efficiency to 59.97 points. It pains me that his lead over the 2nd ranked quarterback, nationally is less than 60 points, but waddaya gonna do?

Hendon Hooker, CBS Sports' "New Face of the Heisman Race", is 16th, over 120 points behind Stroud.

Stroud's lead over the nearest B1G QB in 3rd down passing efficiency is still more than 125 points. You could literally add the efficiency of the 9th rated B1G qb (Tommy DeVito of Illinois) to the efficiency of the 2nd rated qb (Mertz) and still not reach Stroud's 3rd down passing efficiency number (which is 294.575 by the way). The 7th rated qb on 3rd down in the B1G is Kyle McCord. McCarthy is 12th. Clifford is 14th. Since OSU is playing him Saturday... Petras is 17th.
