QB CJ Stroud (All B1G, 2022 B1G QB of the Year, All-American, NFL OROY, Houston Texans)

That was serious bullshit. I can wholeheartedly understand Young winning it, but Stroud finishing fourth and him only getting a first, second, or third place vote from a total of 257 voters? I hope to fuck that he lights up everyone without resort next year, especially those fuckheads up north...

Damn... 4th?? FOURTH?!?! Stroud finished 4th?! He should take that personally. He finished 4th in the Heisman while putting up Madden like numbers, took the heat for 2 games he wasn't responsible for losing, dealt with our (lets be honest) fickle fanbase (myself included) who said a teenager should be starting over him and yet he keeps battling and keeps getting better. Look out 2022, Coleridge "C. J." Bernard Stroud IV is about to go off, even more than he did this year.

He should take the whole night personally. Too many jokes about Hutchinson sacking him and Michigan beating him.

But if it were up to Stroud, he would like to have his teammates with him for this special moment. Asked which teammates specifically he would have liked to bring with him on his first trip to New York City on Friday during his availability with the media before Saturday's ceremony, Stroud gave two.

"Probably Miyan Williams, my running back," he said. "Because that's like my best friend on the team. That's my guy. Either him or (wide receiver) Jaxon (Smith-Njigba). These are my guys. I would want everybody to come but those are probably the two dudes I'm closest with."

THIS!
Day should be playing that Howard joke after every pass he throws in practice, and to every OL blocking. If we don't see a motivated Stroud next season, then he has no heart(I mean Balls, but heart sounds better)

This why I didn't watch that shit. You guys are getting me pissed off just hearing it second hand. The whole fucking sport, the thing that l look forward to most every year, barely exists anymore. People who've never played the game should not get a vote on anything to do with it. Same goes for every sport
Hasn’t that always been the case? The Heisman has always been a media vote is it not? And you can’t tell me that guys who have been in the media and not played the sport since MAYBE HS are any different from the 60s to now. And this again goes for every sport. Beano Cook never played football either, but his vote was never questioned. The Heisman has become a joke anyway for years
