The entire country laughed and sided with Desmond Howard's comments. The guy who finished 2nd in the Heisman voting was a joke, and only was 2nd based off of the Game. That's a slight, and a major one! Stroud should've been 2nd and we all know it, but most of the country was sick of OSU winning the B1G and getting to the CFP. And his saying he had the flu, made the media collectively role their eyes. And all of this was documented on social media. And I can assure you that a 20yo was watching all of this. And that's why he feels slighted and like having a villain mentality.

He could of won the game and DH would disappear and CJ could have finished second.

C.J. Stroud had an incredible first season under center for Ohio State which culminated in the Buckeye quarterback being invited to New York City for the Heisman Trophy Ceremony. We all know how that unfolded, and a certain tweet that the QB sent following the event is actually what inspired this week’s film study.

The standout Ohio State performers are two of five finalists for the honor, which will be given out for the fourth time annually at the Maxwell Football Club Awards Gala in January. Joining Stroud and Henderson as finalists are Georgia tight end Brock Bowers, Texas wide receiver Xavier Worthy and Wisconsin running back Braelon Allen.

Stroud, a redshirt freshman who finished fourth in the Heisman Trophy voting this season, threw for 3,862 yards and 38 touchdowns in his first year as a starter for the Buckeyes, claiming the Big Ten's Offensive Player of the Year, Quarterback of the Year and Freshman of the Year honors along the way.

Just sayin': Stroud should be a lock for the award.
