You're applying causation to something that isn't even correlated. Just because he didn't declare the second a rabid fanbase wanted him to, doesn't mean THAT'S why he fell.

Solid reasoning. The Saints used to suck, too. They (the jets) have a bunch of solid pieces on both sides of the ball, and a coach who isn't a retread fuckwit. Give them a stud QB and they're in better position than half the league at least.

Agree... they aren't far off. Plenty of skill on the offensive side and that secondary is legit.

There was some chatter between the usual insiders and talking heads last week that the Jets were considering firing Saleh, which is one of the dumbest things and also one of the most Jets things I've heard. I can't imagine wanting to get rid of that dude. He's awesome. Zach Wilson just sucks.

The Bengals still aren’t a great landing spot! They’re winning despite the FO. The real question will be how will they treat Burrow when he's a FA, as well as Chase. Idk bow they keep both

And speaking on Stroud, him having the same agent as Deshaun Watson probably has a little to do with him waiting so long. And hoping that the Texans don't draft him

I have blasted Mike Brown for decades but this narrative you have is completely false. The Bengals made Carson Palmer and Andy Dalton the highest paid QB's in the NFL at the time they signed their 2nd contracts. They made AJ Green the highest paid WR. to think they are going to low ball Burrow is pure conjecture because the facts show the Bengals will pony up because they have in the past. They will keep Chase and Burrow. Boyd, on the other hand will likely not be extended because you are going to have to keep Higgins. it sucks, but its the business of the NFL.

My point isn’t that they didn’t pay the QBs, they didn’t pay the weapons to make them successful. Who the heck cares if Palmer was the highest paid QB when they let TJ walk, as well as other players, and failed to pursue FAs or even offer their own FAs matching offers! The Bengals FA has been a joke for decades! Just like that’s great they paid Green, but they also kept players like Atkins too long same with Green when they could’ve traded them and they screwed themeselves there as well.
I can bet you that they will break the bank for Burrow, but they will lose multiple weapons as well like they usually do. I never thought Burrow would be underpaid, he will be paid and his weapons will be sacrificed
