Braxton had (and I'm using the past tense, because we don't know if there will be lingering effects from the shoulder issues, as you noted) a very good arm. But Cardale's arm is, to my eye, is in the top 10% of any QBs out there college or pro. Like I said, watch some of the throws he made against Oregon, and the 3rd down to Marshall in particular. There are not many QBs period that can make that throw, at that velocity, with that accuracy. And his touch has looked significantly better than Brax's...especially on the deep ball where Brax was pretty scattershot.Braxton did. The key will be if Braxton still will. For Braxton, it was the mental side of the game and accuracy. He in theory should have vastly improved the mental side from his junior season, and if he can get back his strong arm I think he's the starter.
