QB Cardale '12 Gauge' Jones (B1G Champion, National Champion)

It wasn't just the deep threat. Go watch a few of his throws in the NCG. He spun that ball through some impossibly tight windows (I'm thinking of the 3rd down conversion in the 4th quarter to Marshall, in particular) that Barrett, and hell...few QBs...can. He just adds a different dimension. But, again, I think we're fine with any of them...I'm just a Cardale guy.
The play that you are referring to comes at 1:04:50. Also check out the throw at 33:20 (an out to Vannett in the second quarter):

Jones has showed an ability to win the biggest of big games, displaying a multitude of skills while doing so. Could Barrett have won those three games too? I don't know, maybe. But I'll take the guy who I know can do it.
Not sure he could do what he did year round, especially the bulldozing tackles, but the flip side is he could develop in other areas with experience. Dude has a difficult decision there are pros and cons no matter what he decides. Good on him for whatever he chooses, he has given buckeye fans more than they hoped for and for that he will always be taken care of by Buckeye Nation.

I don't think either would be crazy, but I would go with the guy that beat three top-ranked defenses and the top-2 seeds in the playoff to close out his NC run. And played well while showing sound decision making and an arm that Barrett and Brax can only dream of. Don't get me wrong, I know a case can be made for all three, but I ride the guy that just won me a consensus NC.

I would take the guy who has 11 starts, put up 45 TD, broke numerous records, over a guy who started 3. Barrett can only dream of jones decision making? did you watch Barrett this year?

He showed sound decision making and he has an arm that Barrett and Brax can only dream of.

Mea culpa. I didn't mean to say JT's decision making is inferior, guess I should have added a comma. However, arm strength most certainly is. And he could not make some of the throws, and not just the Devin bombs, that Cardale showed he can.

So you just proved he didn't say that?

Sure Arm Strength is, but as Meyer has proven over time thats only a plus for him in his system. None of Tebow, Leak, Smith, Harris, Braxton or Barrett had strong arms.
