QB Cardale '12 Gauge' Jones (B1G Champion, National Champion)

case in point the play vs scum where JT got hurt...if he hands the ball off instead of keeping it I believe EZE is still running. I may have to rewatch that now to confirm.....
no need...I'll confirm for you. I spent the rest of the day wishing he had pitched it, because then we'd have JT for Wisconsin and would stand a better chance.

11W story....

MICHIGAN MISSED ITS SHOT WITH KING CARDALE.
Here's a nightmare to envision: The Iron King, Cardale Jones, First of His Name, Poacher of Badgers, Controller of Tides, Slayer of Ducks, Troll Sultan, and 12th Son of Ohio, playing for the clown rodeo located 45 miles north of Toledo.

Hopefully, you didn't break your fist during your temporary break from sanity. Cardale Jones wouldn't know me if I were shitting on his black Dodge Challenger, but that doesn't stop me, the idiot, from thinking of him as my brother.

And as my brother's keeper, my stomach churned reading this:

Interesting: Kiper says if Cardale Jones had declared, he'd have slotted him as a second rounder.

It's going to be hilarious if Cardale doesn't play a snap this season (a horrifyingly real possibility) but becomes the No. 1 pick in the 2016 NFL draft. You laugh now, but think how ridiculous the sentence "Cardale Jones leads Ohio State to three postseason victories, national title" would have seemed in March of 2014.

I get the feeling roughly 1/3 of the fans will be behind each of the three guys. No matter who starts, 2/3 of the fanbase will be grumpy, ready to voice their opinions when things start to go wrong.
I am not in any of the three fan bases. Whoever gives our team the best shot to win is who I want and I trust someone like Urban knows a tad bit more than most of our fans that'll 2nd guess him.

Besides any of the three are the correct answer. Now its just who's the more correct answer

I want all three of these guys on the field. Seriously.

Snap to Braxton on a jet sweep, "OH SHIT He's gonna pass! Touchdown!"

Snap to JT, Roll right pass to TE, Touchdown!

Snap to Cardale, fake pitch to Miller, deep to Thomas, Touchdown!

None of this will happen. They'll pick someone, but Goddamn.

What's it called when a problem isn't really a problem, but an advantage?

I keep coming back to what Calipari has done with Kentucky basketball.

My selfish fantasy is to see "platoon" football out there. 2 sets of skill positions on offense that run an extreme hurry up. You have the JT Package specializing in middle routes, quick screens and general finesse football... and then you have the Cardale/XBrax package which specializes in deep passes off-set by read options and QB keepers. Whichever platoon isn't on the field has the next play coordinated and ready to go if suddenly they want to swap squads. Would require some baller conditioning on the OL, but I don't doubt their ability.

Lord knows we have the depth at RB and WR to do something like that.

Ha. True. But normally when there's a quarterback controversy, you're only upsetting half the fans by making a decision. This time will be 2/3 of the fans. I don't see it being too much of a problem, though.
"With Dude A in there, we only won that game 28-14. And all 14 points were Dude A's fault. With Dude B in there, we would have won 35-0!!!"
"Dude C would have won the game 42-0!!"
"Guys, you're both wrong. Dude A clearly did more than either of those guys could have done. They were holding our receivers and those 2 plays were screwed up because the referees blew it."
I kindly disagree. I think your are leaving out those of us in category 4. There are many fans who love every quarterback equally and don't care or have an opinion over who should start. So with that 1/4 of fans satisfied with anyone that would mean that exactly half of the fans will be unhappy with the qb selection.

Well then you need to break it up into 5 groups:

Fans of Braxton
Fans of JT
Fans of Cardale
Fans of whoever the QB is
Fans of bitching no matter what happens in life
