Where did the solicitation take place? I can't imagine they would have things like that going on around campus. I'm more worried about our players being in a dangerous area, maybe after hours,.....people have been known to get shot or worse being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Did the story say if other players were with him at the time?

Anything south of campus before the Short North is a little sketchy. I think the incident took place at the Krogers on S. High which is a scary place indeed.

THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH

The Buckeyes welcomed Antonio Henton back to the locker room this week with open arms, teammate Doug Worthington said yesterday.

Henton, a redshirt freshman quarterback, has a court date later this month on a charge of solicitation. Henton entered a not-guilty plea to the charge stemming from a Sept. 24 arrest.

Coach Jim Tressel suspended Henton from playing but allowed him to return to practice on the scout team.

"The locker room is definitely different without him," Worthington said. "He brings an aura. He's a great kid."

Worthington said Henton didn't address the team, "but he said sorry to many of us. ? He told us what was going on, and we believe him. We trust him.

"He's our family. We love him. So we have his back no matter what. And I believe he is telling the truth."

Worthington said it wasn't his place to discuss the details of the case as related by Henton, and Henton has been unavailable for comment. Regardless of the circumstances, Worthington said, Henton acknowledged he put the team in a bad light.
