QB Antonio Henton (transfer to Ga. Southern and FT. Valley St.)

what do you suppose would happen if someone asked a cop if they were one and and needed help and the cop denied it and the person collapsed and died?

Why would they need to identify themselves as a cop to help in a case like that? Anyone can call 911...

It's worth reminding ourselves that, since the summer of '06 when Alex Boone got his DUI, this is the first incident where a Buckeye has shown up on a Police Blotter. How many other D-I programs have a record that clean? This wouldn't even warrant an dis-Honorable Mention in the Fulmer Cup ratings. Sure, we all wish this had never happened. But take 100 college-age male studs, and somewhere, someone, sooner or later, will embarass themselves. He didn't pound anyone in a bar fight; he didn't steal; or take money from a booster. He will take his punishment and move on. We'll see if he learns to be a Man. I suspect his most important "learning moments" will occur, not in the judicial system, but in his one-on-ones with Tressell, and the razzing he will take in the locker room.

I just think it is sad for Antonio... I hope he uses it as a learning experience and does what is asked of him.. I also hope it is not true but it sounds like it is.. I have not been impressed with Rob Sho but he is a GCL guy and that is always a good thing...

COLUMBUS ? Ohio State backup quarterback Antonio Henton pleaded not guilty to a misdemeanor charge of soliciting for prostitution in Franklin County Municipal Court today.
Henton, 20, was arrested at 8:27 p.m. Monday on High Street near the OSU campus after offering an undercover Columbus police officer $20 for intercourse, according to a police complaint. He was carrying just $19 at the time of his arrest.

Well done Mr. Henton....well done. You gotta make better choices when you come to a high profile school like OSU. You will get caught. Next time I hope he calls on his hand and not a prostitute. Damn it, I hate it when our players make such poor choices. Well I guess this cleared up who are backup QB is now. :smash:

For all of the comments yet to be discussed, I feel bad for the kid. As a cop, I've never liked the net returns of street vice ops.. (plus, I never could fit into a hootchie skirt/hose!) As a therapist; I see the perpetrator population in this criminal activity as basically harmless & lacking in experience, common sense, or both!
At this point, I declare Antonio a KID & view this as a stupid mistake that he damn well better never make again! This may well serve him further in life.
Also, I've seen promise in his play to date & find all the material that one will need to develop into a field leader & fine Buckeye!
Next year, we'll welcome his growth; as said previously: that is where Tressel's staff shines!

Oh, BTW, NO STICKY THREAD ATTACHED TO THIS POST!!!!

i think in this example (Henton) they would have to ID themselves if asked..

if its a 3 month long breach into the mob.. they do not.

wheres buckin'a at?

they don't have to identify themselves in either case. It would make these sting operations useless.
