Honestly, I liked Kenny's passing more than Braxton's.

He doesn't have the arm, but he seems to be willing to wait longer for the play to develop. The TD pass and 2pt conversion were mostly thanks to him waiting for the right guy to open up. By then, Braxton would have been off to the races.

That doesn't mean that Kenny>Brax, but I am confident that Kenny can keep this team afloat while Braxton comes back. Hope its a speedy recovery, because I'd hate for him to have his season cut short.

He's definitely more comfortable throwing, which leads to more accurate passes and better decisions. Braxton needs to calm down, feels almost like he's either overthinking it or he gets nervous and tries to force it.

Obviously Braxton makes our offense so much more dangerous but I really liked how Kenny was throwing the ball at the end there.

He found Smith for the big gainer, hit spencer on a out pattern that we've struggled with this season, nice throw for the TD, and a even better touch throw for the 2 Pts.

The throw that really has me impressed though was the fast ball to Jake up the seam. I believe in Kenny!

In saying that get well Braxton. We'll need you down the stretch (granted he can go)

When this team needs to come up big to win a bigger game against a better team, they'll be able to call on their experience from today and play with assertiveness and confidence. This will serve the team well, especially players that surround Miller when he gets back.

Agreed.

Especially on defense. I think the offense will be fine with Kenny G leading them.

The defense needed to rediscover its mojo and I think it did today to a certain point.

Next week will be a huge test - Blarney O'Buttchinian is going to design his entire offensive game plan around where Ohio State struggles.

As a Pats fan, Blarnes was responsible for our increased focus on screens and the speed/edge based passing game. It might be a rough game, especially considering that is McMoxie's bread and butter.

FIFY Hell, maybe even the colon. It was that far digested by that point

Hell, I was already moping around... And the game wasn't even over!

I couldn't decide what was more frustrating.. The game I had been watching (up until the middle of the 4th), or the shit feed I had to deal with the entire game.

In the last three minutes of this game, this team learned what it means to be an Ohio State Buckeye.

I hope that the lesson was not lost on those fans who left the game or stopped watching.

Did Purdue win the toss and elect to play defense first in OT?

I know that's typically the choice but given how regulation ended I would've strongly considered taking the ball first. I was glad our offense and their defense came right back out there.

No idea, when we came back out of the commercial break all I saw was the offense going on the field. The super-awesome announcing crew barely got through the OT rules that everyone already knows before the plays started....

With him, I think we might have to change a few passing routes. Not drastically, but just a little.

I think a snap-quicker decision on the ball to Smith and we are looking at 6. After seeing it in live game-speed and a little film study I believe he'll be fine.
