Motorstorm does look pretty sweet, I was gonna download the free demo from the Sony Store yesterday, but I didn't have the time to do it.

I did finally get Resistance, or rather someone else bought it for me. It didn't really look like my kind of game, but my buddy and I have done the multi-player campaign and its been pretty cool. I thought I'd have to pay to play the game online like the way X-Box Live used to be, my guess is Microsoft changed that when they heard Sony was going to offer the service free. So yeah...I played Resistance online and got pwned as I figured I would. I was impressed though, it took less than a minute to link up all the players and start the game. I didn't experience any lag either, everything was real smooth (Not like playing football online).

Looks like Sony is already considering a $100 price cut in the fall:

http://money.cnn.com/2007/03/20/tec...ystation/index.htm?section=money_email_alerts

PS3 console sales in February were only an abysmal 127,000 (analysts predicted Feb. sales to be 200,000 units).

In the 77-month history of the PS2, the lowest monthly sales were 214,000 units. And in the 17 month history of the Xbox 360, the worst month was 187,000 units (when the 360 first launched and supply was very limited). The 360 sold 227,000 units last month.

And the Wii continues to be the leader in the next-gen game platform war so far, selling 335,000 units in Feb. (which is every console they made).

But in the end games drive console sales. The 360 has Forza Motorsport 2, Mass Effect, Bioshock, Blue Dragon, Grand Theft Auto IV, and Halo 3 all in the pipeline for this year. And except for GTA IV, they're all exclusives to the 360.

It will be very interesting to see how Sony's gamble pays off the next few years. I'd love to see the PS3 price cuts continue, then I'd buy all 3 consoles.

Motorstorm, GTA IV, Grand Turismo HD, Metal Gear, God of War 3, Formula 1, Final Fantasy XIII, Socom 4

Exclusive titles should be done with, but the 360 isn't what worries me.. if you want to have a 360 by all means have it. I rather a wii than a 360.. and i'll continue to enjoy my ps3:)

I've got a Wii and 360 already, I'm just waiting for Sony to cut the price down to about $300 before I get myself a PS3.
