As it relates to The Game, you guys have to understand there is a built in "state hate"/cultural divide that fuels our deal to get you through those periods where the game doesn't determine dick but bragging rights.

The two states went to war, literally, over the Toledo strip in 1835 and, not to bring politics into it too much, there was a strong sense of blue state vs red state thing for as long as I can remember. That is of course until recently when PC became the law of the land and it wasn't cool to hate the [censored] out of your enemy anymore.

In general terms (obviously no blanket statement is ever correct except that scUM does indeed suck) tsun was a bastion of elitist, left wing, liberal, dirty hippie, pinko, commie, draft dodging fags who were rumored to indulge in buggery of small farm animals and somehow rationalized that toxic mix into a sense of pompous superiority.

Ohio was home to humble, salt of the earth, conservative, god fearing folk.

Obviously the two don't always see eye to eye.

Football is added to the real life disdain the two groups feel for each other (or at least used to) and makes it the greatest rivalry in sports as far as any of us are concerned.

Just have to be smart enough to stay away from that type of garbage. My days of partying down on Chittenden are over so I am not really worried about getting into drunken scuffles with "fans" anymore.
