Preseason magazines 2010: Steele, Athlon, Lindy's, etc.

Just a comment on the SI cover, that here in Cali, the cover is Boise State, not OSU. Probably same articles, but different covers (a la Athalon, Lindy's etc) they market to their respective audiences. No one outside of the West Coast cares one whit about Boise (except for some college football fanatics), and no one outside the sphere of influence of OSU cares about them (same exception noted). I'll wager that in the Central USA, Texas is on the cover, and Florida in teh South.....

Not sure who noticed the lack of accuracy in the magazines, but it looks like (Steele, Lindy's) that we've got Thad, Small, and Spit back for another year (and Kurt Coleman), so we're really set for a 2010-2011 BCS run.....shoddy reporting for certain-sure.

Florida would be a good bet, but here in North Carolina the cover is all 'Bama....

Yes SI regularly does different covers for different areas of the country

What's worse is that all the captions are the same this year (The [insert team here] have the defense to win it all). Lame
