Preseason and Regular Season Polls (2016)

SEC only has 5 teams in the rankings, did the committee get distracted?

Yeah, but it's a fucking SWEET 5!

I prefer that 5 spot for the next couple games. Give them some motivation to knock scUM out. Speaking of that, say Bama, Clemson, Washington, tOSU, Louisville win out. Does scUM fall behind Louisville? Louisville having the 'better loss' than scUM with an unbeaten Clemson would lead me to believe they put them behind Louisville.
Won't really matter. In the scenario you describe UM is fighting Louisville for 5th place.

If tsun ends up in any 1 loss beauty contests they will have wins over 2 top 10 teams in Wisconsin and PSU. I think it will come down to how they looked in the 1 loss.

something tells me we don't see a 3rd straight year of non-chaos

I think someone(s) going to lose in a CCG and really blow shit up

Suppose Colorado is in the mix as well sitting at 12 or something around there.

The committee made up for it with that overly-generous ranking of TAMU.

Yes, sir. 5 was all we need. Handle business from here on out and I think we end up at #3 with a hot date with Clemson.

Well, if it's a rematch against Clemson, at least we don't have that damn OC we had last time "that lost the game for us and needed to be fired" 8D

Yep. In that scenario, it's Bama, Clemson, Washington and Ohio State, in that order. No strong arguments either.

Three of the four are undefeated power 5 conference champs. The fourth is a one loss B1G champ Ohio State which trumps Michigan for obvious reasons and has a much stronger case than a one loss team that didn't win the ACC.

If it wasnt harmful to the detriment of tOSU I wouldnt be rooting for the BIG to wreck this system.. like.. scUM loses twice.. OSU is 11-1 but doesnt get to go to conference championship game, PSU and Wisky win out including the Championship game. making them a VERY attractive 2 loss team. washington drops a game somewhere.. Bama's QB is hurt in their championship and is out for the year and they lose that game.. clemson falls to NC in the ACC championship.. who gets in?
