They have a lot of issues to address actually, with Sturridge being as injury prone as he is it really did put them in a tough spot at the beginning of the year. That's not the only reason for their rough start, but it sure as hell didn't help. Keeping guys like Sterling does make the opportunity to come to Anfield a lot more attractive though.

Top 4 is attainable, it's just how they finish.

@BVistahC Couldn't agree more. NBCSN has really set the bar high with their BPL coverage & this was just another example of how excellent a job they do. FOX has literally not changed a thing with their coverage over the years which is painful. ESPN has improved over the years unlike FOX, but NBCSN is in a whole different realm.

NBCSN knew they what they were doing when they hired former BPL players with good personalities for game analysis, but their all-around coverage is so much better. Match of the Day, Goal Zone, Men In Blazers (Didn't do it for me initially, but I find them amusing now) etc. Light years better than anything FOX Soccer ever done. FOX just enrages me for the simple fact their UCL coverage is not very good.

Not to mention the pure presence of the luscious Rebecca Lowe. I can't believe that just over a year ago that I didn't even know this league existed and now get up at 8:00am on weekends to not only watch and listen to her but to enjoy these matches as well. The overall coverage is nothing less than spectacular.

Yeah they've really done a great job with it. We'll see what Fox comes up with, but I don't have high hopes. They're more likely to use an Erin Andrews clone than someone good like Lowe

Wynalda gets the home countries of the teams wrong routinely during UCL coverage. The women's coverage in the run-up to the Women's World Cup on FS1 reminds me of very old college soccer coverage on FOX Sports Net in the 90's (if anyone can recall that).

But Sky Sports News on FOX Soccer (before FS1 was created) was good. Then it went bye bye.

Let the Jurgen Klopp courting begin, since he's said he's leaving Dortmund after this season.

The thing about City is, the Arabs could go nuts at any moment and ax him (job security). I don't think United or Liverpool would make a change, so City seems like the only logical destination in the EPL.

Spurs announced updated plans for their new stadium today. They signed an agreement with the NFL to host two games a year for ten years, starting when the stadium opens in 2018. The deal is not exclusive, so the NFL will likely continue to play games at Wembley and other venues.

Of note:
  • The proposed capacity has been increased to 61,000, which would make it the largest club ground in London
  • A 17,000-seat single-tier stand, which would be the largest in the UK.
  • The playing surface will be a retractable natural grass pitch, with an artificial gridiron field underneath built to NFL specifications, allowing the stadium to host many types of events with quick turnarounds while still having a quality natural playing surface for Spurs to play on.
  • Dedicated locker room facilities for NFL use
