Premier League (Official Thread)

United can move five points clear of City today if they win @ Blackburn. Kickoff is at 3pm on ESPN2 or ESPN3.com if you can't get to a TV.

City were dreadful against Sunderland going down 3-1 at home, but apparently the argument between Balotelli & Kolarov in the 60th minute over a free kick inspired both of them to score within a minute of each other in the 80th to tie it. Thought they were going to win it after they took all the momentum but they were pretty fortunate to even get a point after playing so awful for 80 minutes.

United decided to wait until 80 minutes had gone by before deciding to play. In the last 10 minutes, they put 2 in to move 5 points clear. 7 games left to play and City is falling apart. United are doing what United does best, end the season in top form.

I just want City to pull it together enough to beat Arsenal this weekend. After that they can DIAF for all I care.

I would have no issue with City beating Arsenal. I find Wenger's press conferences som much more entertaining when he tries to explain how his losing side are better than the other team. Arrogance & self righteousness are even better in a french accent. I really hope Tottenham get it together for the last 7 games. I am enjoying the old big 3 plus Chelsea being pulled back to the pack. Makes the EPL more interesting.

I root for City only because I find American ManU fans to be pathetic frontrunners. But it looks like the Premier League race is over.

The only drama left is whether Newcastle can breakthrough for a Champions League qualification and who will be relegated.

Thank you Spurs for that choke job, hoping my Blues can capitalize against Fulham tonight.

Part of me is happy for Dempsey if he gets to keep credit for the equalizer..but damn it Blues....how many times are we going to screw around with chances, not finish..only to see the other side steal a point?

Blues were clearly the superior side, but it didn't show on the final score.

Chelsea let's another opportunity to gain ground on a Champion's League spot go wasted.

'twas a golden chance to take 4th. I have a feeling Tottenham are going to continue to tank though, so this might all be a mute pont if Chelsea can just pick up a few more wins.

You guys will have the spot in the FA Cup final too, and then 'Arry can fuck off to England so he can run them into the ground at Euro this summer too. At least I'll kind of enjoy that last part.

I would like to see Newcastle in the UCL next year. Now that Joey Barton is gone, I have no reason to hate them.

Ba and Cisse have been the best signings of the year in the entire league. Hats off to them - if they manage to capture the spot they will have earned it.
