I can't get enough of that slip... especially considering his 'This does not f'ing slip now.' I really have nothing against Liverpool or Gerrard, I just hate that whining, diving baby Suarez that much I pulled for Man City to win at the end.

So what is the consensus? Was it a choke for Liverpool or not?

Liverpool wasn't expected to win the PL this year, but they were in first and had control of their own destiny until the slip.

Well, I think it's hard to call it a choke, considering most people didn't even expect them to make the champions league. The game against Crystal Palace was a bit of a choke job, but that was done. And regardless of the slip, the best that Liverpool could have hoped for against Chelsea was a draw. The truth is they over achieved, and I think everyone realized that eventually that defense was going to get them. They had a great attack, but a defense that left a lot to be desired. If they still hard Reina in the box they would probably be right next to Manchester United in the standings.

Also, winning 15 games in a row, when you play the top 5 in that time is tough, Liverpool got through three of the four, but you could see things starting to crumble after the Manchester City match. Norwich was a really tough match, then some friend I had bought me a jersey and I knew we were fucked, it's all my fault.

They have a ticket to Europe next year and should be able to get some quality defenders. It's time to get rid of some dead weight and move on, United will be much stronger next year, Chelsea should have some form of an attack, and if all that UEFA is going to do is fine and take away a couple players for breaking fair play rules you can pretty much expect City to break the bank.
