3 fucking goals allowed in less than 10 minutes, after being up 3-0. :argh:

As a casual observer of the game, I decided to do a mathematical analysis of how colossal a choke job this actually was.

Comparing the NFL to the EPL, the average points scored in an NFL game last year was 46.8. Through week 36, the average goals scored in an EPL game was 2.77. Dividing 46.8 by 2.77 comes out to 16.89. That means that a goal in soccer (sorry, I'm american and that's what I call it:wink:) is basically equal to scoring 17 points in an NFL game. Palace scored their first goal at 79. That means that 88% of the game was over when thy first scored. When 88% of an NFL game has been played, there are about 7 minutes and 12 seconds left in the game.

Now, I know this is being silly, but if you take into account the above numbers, what happened today to Liverpool is equivalent to an NFL team being up 51-0 with 7:12 left in the game and LOSING!
You might say "they didn't lose, it was a draw" but thats bullshit. By "not winning" they essentially "lost."

Hope like hell that Villa can somehow pull the upset on wednesday, they already beat City earlier in the year but City looks to have the heart that Liverpool obviously is lacking.

Peace

Prem clubs to see big gains from TV - ESPNFC
The Premier League champions stand to rake in 95 million pounds from TV money this season while even the bottom club will earn 63 million pounds.
The huge value of new 5.5-billion-pound Premier League broadcast deals will be highlighted by the fact that whoever finishes bottom of the table on Sunday should earn more from TV money than the 60.8 million pounds Manchester United were paid after winning the league last season.

Man City could have UCL squad size cut - ESPNFC

Manchester City could be forced to omit up to six members of their foreign legion from their Champions League squad as part of UEFA's punishment for breaching Financial Fair Play rules.
While City were confident of passing new regulations and they could contest UEFA's findings, there are reports that European football's governing body found them guilty and will fine them 50 million pounds, to be paid over three years, and only allow them to name 21 senior players who are eligible for continental competition next season.

Looks like they'll be getting similar treatment to PSG.

Zabaleta & Silva combination proving too much to handle for Villa. Zabaleta's runs have been superb.

Yaya Toure just went bananas. 4-0 City. That man is simply spectacular. Always enjoy watching him play.
