It looks like Moyes is out.

Considering it's the Tampa Bay Buccaneers ownership, it'll probably be Andre Villas-Boas or Ryan Giggs.

I just keep looking at the Buccaneers and thinking Alex Ferguson held up this club for many years and maybe we'll now see the real Glazer ownership of United.

While I don't think the guy got a real fair shot, even Fergie said the current team needed a serious overhaul to be contenders, I do understand not having a lot of faith going into next season. You've had a full on fan revolt at this point, with #MoyesOut trending globally (who says Americans don't care about soccer) and players making statements that they are unhappy.

Let's all remember the good times!

Sundays showdown at Anfield just got a little bit easier for Liverpool with Cech & Terry getting injured today.

AVB just took the job at Zenit several weeks ago.

Everything I've read says they are after van Gaal. Some Spurs ITK have been insisting for weeks that van Gaal was headed to Tottenham, but have now said that the ManU opening has turned his head and that he has broke off talks.

As far as Spurs are concerned I think I'd rather see them go after somebody like de Boer instead, but he probably won't come.

We'll See, while they may not be at 100% Mourinho is damned good at adjusting. And Martin Atkinson is the referee and his record when refereeing Chelsea matches is like 24-4-1, so it's obvious Jose knows how to get into his head. Liverpool just needs to play their style, they have been really good at Anfield this year, so start strong and keep the pressure on.

It took numerous European media articles over the past few days to alert me to the fact the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have finished in the bottom four of the NFL for much of the past 10 years.

I'm a Browns fan and usually only pay attention to the Browns ineptitude (not the Buccaneers).

These same European media outlets keep pointing to the fact that maybe Sir Alex Ferguson carried the club under the Glazers.

He also handpicked Moyes as his successor. So he is hardly blameless.

It is also a little unfair to compare team's run under a franchise system to the European model.

Thought experiment: If SAF came back and managed this team next season, how would they finish? In other words, how much of the drop-off comes down to the difference in the quality of manager and how much of it comes down to the fact that Manchester United are an aging side? I think that with the composition of the team they weren't going to be title contenders this season regardless. I think perhaps they would have been in the race with Arsenal and Everton for 4th - certainly better than their current situation but still a significant drop from their previous season and below their normal standard.
