Premier League (Official Thread)

Right now there is a culture of losing when it matters. They need a strong leader and I don't see one either on the team or in the manager's role.
They've beaten Everton, Spurs, and Liverpool in the cup. They beat Liverpool and Spurs and out-played Chelsea and United at home in the league. There's just something seriously wrong with how they tactically and mentally approached the games at Chelsea and Liverpool, and to a lesser extent Spurs and City.

Only took City 42 seconds to take a 1-0 lead. United in big trouble today.

Pretty good half. City were imperious at the start, but United got in better rhythm at the end. Both teams playing rather reckless in challenges, so I wouldn't surprised one bit if someone sees Red in the 2nd. United have been careless with the ball in their own half on quite a few occasions & if that continues City will bury them. Looking forward to an enjoyable 2nd half.

3-0 City. Completely outplayed United in the 2nd. United have some serious issues in Midfield & Defense. They're atrocious in both of those areas this season.

I love that they've formed a support group for each other.

He keeps his job because he's been more important to Arsenal than any other manager at any other top twenty club in Europe, by far.

I was convinced he was done a couple years ago, but if he survives now it's only because the board is afraid to be the group of guys who let Arsene Wenger go. The team is completely stagnant and the past two months of football have been terrible to watch. He's not motivating the players (the obvious counter-example being Brendan Rogers) and he straight refuses to adjust to the injuries. Something needs to change.
