Premier League (Official Thread)

I agree they wouldn't be title contenders this year. But they would have squeezed into the Champions League. I also think Wayne Rooney would have transferred out. Alex Ferguson probably wouldn't have put up with another year of his crap.

Jose Mourinho was brilliant tonight, he knew EXACTLY how to tear liverpool apart. Now it's Citys season. While I am a Liverpool fan, Brenden Rodgers staring at the field as Jose patted him on the shoulder was epic. We effectively lost the league tonight, but the future is bright for Liverpool.

That Ross Barkley goal though. He's going to be something special. I just wonder where in England.

Congratulations Arsenal! You earned this.

I look forward to yet another mediocre Champions League run.

So true. I was actually hoping they would finish further down and put additional pressure for Wenger to make better moves. But since they finished in a mediocre 4th again, Wenger won't do jack. And he's already said as much....

I can't believe how much I've gotten into this league. The coverage on NBC Sports, and the time difference, is great - what else are you going to watch Saturday/Sunday morning while drinking your coffee?

Made an excuse to skip out of work early for today's Liverpool match. :sneaky:
