United close in on Marouane Fellaini - ESPNFC
Sources have told ESPN that Moyes is on course to sign Belgium international Fellaini before the transfer window shuts at 11pm BST on Monday, while a deal for Baines also remains a possibility.
An offer of around £25 million is expected to be enough to secure the midfielder, who moved to Goodison Park for an initial £15 million from Standard Liege in September 2008, when Moyes was Everton’s manager.

He might add muscle and grit/guts, but I still don't think Fellaini fits the need of United of a creative central mid player. Creative anything really.

Lukaku going to Everton on loan is intriguing, since he shined with West Brom last season.

Not impressed with Man U during the transfer window.

Lukaku should provide Everton with plenty of goals throughout the season.

Ozil to Arsenal is intriguing but will the expensive addition be enough to satisfy the fans?

I don't think Fellaini is worth £27.5 million, but money isn't an object to United. Everton did well to get that amount for him, and did well with their incomings.

I hate that Ozil went to Arsenal. He's a great player and instantly makes them better. They arguably had a greater need for depth or steel, but a player of his caliber enhances their team regardless of their other weaknesses. I read some gooner idiot on Twitter who was wondering how he'd get in the team when they already have players like Rosicky, Wilshere and Cazorla. He's arguably the best #10 in the world. I love Twitter. It's like reverse Wikipedia. Any topic you can think of, you can go on there and find somebody saying something really fucking stupid about it.

Man U could have used Ozil. I wonder why they weren't in for him. Too busy trying to lowball Everton to know he was on the market I guess?

IMO, the teams that did the best were Spurs, Liverpool, and Everton. Even though Ozil is a great player, it feels like Arsenal spent just to spend, and I am nut sure about Fellaini to ManU, I think they overpaid for him and I also think the last think Red Devils fans want is Moyes turning thier team into a clone of the 6th place Everton team.

I think that club might be changing their model and money might be an object. The lure of Ferguson is gone and David Moyes is there now (not the same as Sir Alex), as is Ed Woodward (versus David Gill).

I wonder if their model is going to be closer to Arsenal or Liverpool now (and farther from Chelsea and City).

The only interesting thing may be is if the Glazers sell to the Chinese or Arabs. But they rejected previous bids and set an insane price for the club (considering the debt).

Does no one at ManU rate Kagawa?
I read a few places that he's not match fit right now. Not sure whether that's true, or that they're covering the fact he's just not good enough right now.
