Penn State University police received a search warrant for the Nittany Apartments after seeing marijuana in plain view in the kitchen and smelling it throughout the apartment. According to the
Centre Daily Times, the apartment has
four football players living in it, and lists those four names on the search warrant.
While the player’s names weren’t listed in the report, the address was, and very quickly PSU quarterback
Daryll Clark’s name was attached to a very serious charge.
Now word comes from FightOnState.com that
Clark had moved out of the listed apartment at the end of fall semester, and that the online directory had yet to be updated. They also report that “sources close to the program and local law enforcement have said Clark is not involved in the pending case.”
While I’m not calling the report bogus, I don’t know many college students that move over winter break. Either way, while Clark, an All-Big Ten quarterback might be in the clear, there are still four football players whose names are allegedly listed on a search warrant.
