Police/Legal Blotter (stop breaking the law, asshole!)

I once knew a kid who collected money at a party to go get cases of Natty Light. He collected enough money to buy four cases (so $40 or so), brought one back to the house and took the other three somewhere else.

I am always impressed by the epic levels of douchebaggery that move took.

Stole 2 cases of Keystone Light from a party and sneaked* them into my dorm Freshman year of college.

*did not sneak at all. Our drunk asses basically tried to throw one of our t-shirts over 2 30 racks and walked right into the building and through the halls. Pure dumb luck we weren't caught. #college

I think most dorms don't care... esp RAs in their 20s.
Used to walk right by the front desk with scotch or irish whiskey in the brown bag. Never a word. People got busted every week, but only after creating a scene.
If I tried that in the barracks I would've been carded* and then in deep shit for bringing liquor in. Every duty on the planet knew what that brown bag was, and nobody was gonna get their own ass burned for overlooking it.

*If you were 21+, you were allowed 1 6pack of beer per adult per room (or malt stuff if you're a chick)

I was a broke frat bro in college and never had to resort to stealing beer let alone Keystone. I was better than that. I could always find $3.24 for the 12-pack of Milwaukee's Best Light.
Wow, what a deal! The "Beast" was $3.24/6-pack when I was in college (early 90s), but a keg was $40 ($30w/$10 deposit). :banger::cheers:
From '95-'98 a 12-pack was that cheap in Wilmington, OH. That was our beer of choice.
I stand corrected. Just checked with one of my old roommates, it was $2.37/6-pack at the Wright Spot drive-thru, Wright St. (wrong school).

I remember well the day in 1962 when the marketing guru for Augustiner called the house and asked if we'd try the "New Augustiener" at our next party. True to their word, the Augustiener truck pulled up and dropped off two barrels of their best. A half hour later the call went out, money was collected and the pledges sent to get real beer. There's only so much you can do to water from the Olentangy.

And then there was the C & G, a half block south of Park Hall on High where you could get a plain cheese pizza and an ice cold Strohs for a $1.25. Just had to avoid looking into the kitchen.
