Three Texas football players and a former player were arrested early Monday downtown and charged with Class C misdemeanors.
Senior starters Kenny Vaccaro and Alex Okafor, senior reserve tight end Barrett Matthews and former UT player Eryon Barnett were detained shortly before 1:30 a.m. on charges of failure to obey a lawful order, according to court documents.
Austin police said the men were involved in a disturbance with a doorman and several officers after they were denied entrance to the Blind Pig Pub at 317 E. Sixth St., and authorities told them to leave the area, according to an arrest warrant affidavit. While they were eating at Roppolo’s Pizza nearby, a man told police officers Barnett had threatened him, the affidavit said.
Officers asked the men several times to leave the pizza parlor, and they refused, the affidavit said. Officers arrested Okafor and Barnett. Barnett gave police another name and was charged with failure to identify, Travis County court records show.
Police said Vaccaro and Matthews were cursing at officers from across the street and approached officers, the affidavit said. They refused to leave and were arrested, the documents said.

AWESOME offseason down in Hogville!

Football: Three Hogs Arrested On Burglary Charges
Three Arkansas football players have been arrested for residential burglary this afternoon, according to the Washington County Detention Center website.

Wide receivers Marquel Wade and Maudrecus Humphrey and tight end Andrew Peterson have been booked into the Washington County Detention Center after being arrested by the University of Arkansas Police Department. All three players have been charged with residential burglary.

The details surrounding the arrests were not immediately known.

But it?s another disappointing note to Arkansas? spring. The trio now bumps Arkansas? offseason arrest total to six players. Offensive lineman Jason Peacock was arrested on a felony theft charge in March. Wide receiver Kane Whitehurst was charged with possession of marijuana on April 1. Linebacker Tyler Gilbert was arrested and charged with felony aggravated residential burglary and theft of property in mid-April.

More information as it comes.

UAPD report says the three players stole items from dorm rooms. Included laptops, cash, DVDs and textbooks.

... anyone who still wears a ballcap backwards has a case to be made.

Hey, hey, hey!

I'm 6'3" and when I drive, if I have my hat facing forward the bill crashes into the door/window of my car. I got used to wearing my hat backwards because of that many years ago and I do it to this day.
