Starting running back is gone. Pack his bags for him and leave them with the cops. When his family comes to get him out, they can just take him back to Macon.

I'm so sick of this ghetto hard-ass horse[Mark May] its not even funny. 19 year old kids carrying weapons in a school zone. You have thrown your life away.
Wish granted:

Holy shit.

That said, I'm almost not surprised. I remember watching NSD - Crowell was quite literally struggling to string two words together. It was the funniest thing in the world until I realized Crowell was getting a four year full scholarship to an academic institution.

Greg Reid arrested in Georgia

Florida State defensive back Greg Reid was arrested by the Georgia State Patrol on Tuesday night and charged with driving with a suspended license, a seatbelt violation and misdemeanor possession of marijuana, according to the Lowndes County (Ga.) Sheriff's office.

The incident occurred around 11 p.m. ET. Reid was taken to the Lowndes County Jail and released on bond, according to Capt. Wanda Edwards.

A Florida State spokesman said the school did not have an official comment, as it is still gathering facts and has yet to see a police report.

5-star Auburn commit Dee Liner arrested, charged in separate incidents in 10 days

Today in minor recruiting arrests: The early headliner of Auburn's 2013 recruiting class, Muscle Shoals, Ala., defensive tackle Dee Liner, has reportedly been arrested for criminal trespassing ? his second offense in less than two weeks.

According to WAFF-TV in Huntsville, Liner (not to be confused with early nineties house/dance group Deee-Lite) was arrested around 1 a.m. Wednesday morning after being spotted jumping a fence at a public pool along with several other people. The initial charge, burglary, was quickly reduced to criminal trespassing, a misdemeanor; no court date has been set. The threat of a felony count having been narrowly avoided, Auburn fans will now take solace in the image of a 6-foot-3, 270-pound lineman hopping a fence as more proof of his freakish athleticism.

A previous (and previously unreported) incident may prove more serious. On July 1, Liner was arrested following an altercation with a female officer who had pulled over his mother in Muscle Shoals. According to a police report, Liner pulled up in a second car during the traffic stop and began "screaming, cursing and throwing objects" at the officer, allegedly yelling "Let my f------ mother go. You're not going to tell me what to do." He's set to appear on Aug. 23 on two misdemeanor charges from that incident, for disorderly conduct and obstructing government operations.

Still wrangling over the 2007 sexual assault case at Iowa:

Court: Iowa can withhold records

IOWA CITY, Iowa -- The University of Iowa can conceal hundreds of pages of records related to its widely criticized handling of a 2007 sexual assault incident involving two football players, the Iowa Supreme Court ruled Friday.

In a 4-3 decision that took nearly two years to reach, the court agreed with the university that it can withhold the records requested by the Iowa City Press-Citizen newspaper. Otherwise, the school would face the possibility of violating the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act and, if sanctioned, could lose millions in federal funds, Justice Edward Mansfield wrote for the majority, in a first-of-its-kind ruling in Iowa.

Mansfield said the state's open records law carves out an exception for universities and schools because FERPA prohibits institutions from releasing education records that contain information that identifies students. Releasing the records with redactions to protect the students' identities is not an option in this case because the newspaper and the public already know the names of those involved, Mansfield said.
