I needed a magnifying glass, but I think it says '1369' on the front of that scooter. Quote a cruel image you've posted there.

Missouri's non-playing DB - get into a car accident and leave the scene - and get kicked off the team.

Oregon's All-American DB - get stopped while driving 118 mph with a suspended license and the smell of weed in the car - just drive away after passing the 'walk a straight line' test an hour after you're stopped, and sit out 1 game.

Mizzou's Holt 'removed from program' after arrest

COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) -- A second Missouri defensive back has been kicked off the team in as many weeks.

Coach Gary Pinkel says redshirt freshman cornerback Tristen Holt has been "removed from the program." He announced sophomore safety Tavon Bolden's dismissal the first week of the season for an unspecified violation of team rules.

Holt was arrested Saturday on charges of leaving an accident scene. He reportedly drove away when another driver asked for his insurance information.

"Through consulting with UPD, we have made the decision that the resisting charge is more appropriately dealt with as resisting without violence," said state attorney Bill Cervone. "See you in my new luxury box. Go Gators."
If you read the police report, he was overcharged. The practice is routine to cops everywhere. Not just in Gainesville, not just in Columbus, but everywhere. But, cops never decide what charges are accepted for prosecution. That is the DA's (or SA) job.

Charging Dee with resisting an officer with violence - a third degree felony - was laughable. The reason it was not accepted was because it was un-winnable at trial. Pulling your wrist away from the cop in a knee jerk (wrist jerk?) reaction is not a third degree felony, and never has been. Finley was stupid for driving a scooter while his license was suspended. He was stupid to think that he could ignore the cop's request for information - and it does not matter that a Tri-Delt on her Vespa likely does not get stopped, let along arrested. You know how to avoid this? Don't drive your f-in' scooter without a license. Then you don't need to run from cops who stop you. Idiot.

You can put 100% of the blame on Dee Finley. He is not the brightest bulb on the porch, and deserves whatever bad stuff Boom or the Court gives him, up and including being launched from the program. This [Mark May] needs to stop. But what it is not, Scooter, is some kind of "protect the Gators" decision. If we had that kind of actual stroke there would not have been a UPD cop arresting a gator for driving his scooter around a barricade next to the freaking stadium in the first place.

And also, don't drive your scooter around barricades. Especially not when a LEO is (I'm guessing) in view.

Felony charge for resisting with violence was a joke though.

FSU's Reid charged with resisting arrest and misdemeanor perjury. When is somebody under oath but not in an 'official proceeding'?

FSU CB Greg Reid charged with misdemeanor perjury

Cornerback Greg Reid was arrested early Monday morning by the Tallahassee Police Department and charged with misdemeanor perjury (not in an official proceeding) and resisting an officer without violence.

The junior cornerback is also a key piece of the Seminoles' return game, and sat out Florida State's 35-30 loss to Clemson on Saturday. Reid injured his right knee in the loss to Oklahoma on Sept. 17 and was on the sideline for the loss, but never saw the field. Reid and linebacker Telvin Smith received one-game suspensions earlier in the season for a violations of unspecified team rules. It is unknown at this point whether or not the suspensions and arrest are connected in any way.

When giving a false ID to an officer in a misdemeanor summons and signing it?

I have not run across that one. I bet a copy of the police report is one line by now somewhere, and that should explain it. Lemme see...
