I was looking for the BTN thread to put this in but this will do as well...

Sony launching a streaming TV service.. The major difference from others being they have FOX, CBS, NBC on board so it sounds like it could be live sports. They are still working with Disney of course but if they can get Disney it could be the first viable cord cutter service for Sports fans.

PlayStation Vue blends live local broadcast and cable TV network programming with on-demand content and programs that viewers have saved in a cloud-based DVR. Six major content partners are on board: CBS, Discovery Communications, Fox, NBCUniversal, Scripps Networks Interactive and Viacom.

That adds up to about 75 channels including Comedy Central, Animal Planet, Food Network, Syfy and Nickelodeon. Sony continues talking to other major providers with the biggest holdout being Disney, parent company to ABC and ESPN. "It's a pretty robust lineup, by no means do I think we are done," House said.

I've already played Halo and that would be the main reason for me buying an xb1. Is the Last of Us and other exclusives a good enough reason to buy a ps4 over a xb1? I should add that I rarely play anything online, more of a casual gamer. This is the combo I'm contemplating buying.

I'm struggling to get excited about reskinned, last generation games. I'm sure they're fun but that isn't an appealing bundle long-term. The Last of Us was 19.99 back in July (for PS3).

To me, the Halo reskin collection would be a better investment long term, though still gets back to my same hesitation to buy any of them yet.

Are there many more exclusives beyond Halo and Last of Us?

I'm getting a PS4 but not now.... I'm waiting a while longer, I've got GTA V & Last of Us for the PS3 so there is 0 reason for me to buy it.

Last of Us - phenomenal game

PS4 has a few very good exclusives, but for me it's anything Naughty Dog touches that I love. Last of us and the Uncharted series were some if the best games I have ever played. It's like playing a movie.

For me the choice was obvious, but that's because a lot of the features for Xbox didn't apply to me and I'm not a huge online gamer, which I believe Xbox is better for (although that may no longer be the case on this gen).
