Update?Broke down and bought the Uncharted:Nathan Drake Collection/Destiny bundle on Amazon (used the BP link!!) for $350.00 plus tax on Saturday, delivered today.
Must have been a special price because the same bundle today is ~$400.00
Went home for lunch to get it off the front porch and set up. Set it to download the Uncharted games while I was back at work this afternoon. Should be ready to go when I get home.
Honestly, Have not really played around with it too much because of work (this is my busy season). Started playing Destiny last night just to see what it looked like. Graphics are amazing compared to what I'm used to. Also, it's a hell of a lot faster than the old PS3's.Update?
I played the remastered Uncharted: Drake's Fortune last night for a couple hours, and wow. Controls are much, much easier and the graphics and game play are so much smoother than the PS3.
FIFA 16 demo auto-dowloaded for some reason, so I played a quick game on that as well. Yeah, I suck at that game and lost 4-0, but it was fun to see how the sports game will look. The renderings of the players is pretty impressive.
This bundle was exactly what I was waiting for to pull the trigger on buying the PS4 as Uncahrted is my favorite game series. My son already pre-ordered Uncharted 4 for me for my birthday.Since i beat all 3 on PS3, i'm waiting for this to get down to $15 to buy for the PS4
Gonna need to upgrade the HD storage on our PS4. Physical replacement seems pretty simple and the data swap should be no problem. But I'm not quite as comfortable picking the actual hard drive unit. Anyone done this yet? Any tips or recommendations on hard drives? Planning on 2TB in hopes it will be enough room for the next couple years.
I would probably look at getting a SSHD (Hybrid) drive.
