There's no such thing as a "should've been" score. That it wasn't 28-3 is the reality, and evidence of problems.

That said, I'll never turn down a playoff chance. I just won't have high hopes if we end up facing Georgia.

Agreed. If people want the band-aid ripped off asap, you want OSU to be in the playoffs no matter what we think they'd do. Day isn't going to get heat by playing in a bowl game without key starters when fans themselves say they could care less about it. But playing in the playoffs, possibly in a rematch with TTUN?

All of a sudden you're looking at an acceleration of the attitude towards Day and what the administration might have to do to respond.

Or Day comes out on top and beats Michigan for the National Title.

Then you didn't watch....

It was 10-3 when it should've been 28-3.

We also were averaging 6 yards per carry all game.

Fuck it. I'm onboard (so should you) we are better than TCU and USC.

ROOT FOR THE UPSET.
I agree the first half felt like Clemson 2019 where we were inches of away from blowing them the fuck out.

But I figured the 2nd half numbers would be bad enough to hurt that significantly. Cause other then the drive Stover dropped the TD we did nothing

We don’t deserve but neither does anyone else after TCU

We don’t deserve it, the least
Sad thing is with what our D has shown USC and TCU would scare me the most out the potential contenders. Georgia is built like TSUN with more athletes. They throw it better but don't run it as well.

TSUN even after last game I'd still try to force McCarthy to beat us with his arm. Just hope our Defenders were running with the recievers this time

This is a year of basically "someone has to be there"

Ohio State doesn't deserve to be there, Bama definitely doesn't deserve to be there.

But they could very well both end up there. USC and TCU both have good chances to lose this week.

If TCU or USC loses we are in. There's not doubt about it.

Agreed. The committee and ESPN want/need a storyline for the teams. If chalk wins out, you’re looking at:

Georgia vs TCU/USC
Michigan vs USC/TCU

Anyone canceling plans over those games? “Sorry guys, can’t go out tonight, watching Georgia vs TCU.”

While Georgia has been a dominant team, they’ve only topped the tv ratings once this year (vs Tenn). In fact, even as the #1 team they’ve typically sat in the lower top-5 of weekly watched games. Then you have USC which has a great fan base, but no one has seriously cared about the Pac-12 in 15 years. As far as TCU is concerned, we’ve seen them fist fighting Baylor for the first one out behind OSU in 2014. There’s just no storylines to bring attention to for ratings.

Michigan is carrying the entire Top 4 so far, so I would definitely say the committee would love to have an excuse to bring in us and Bama.

The potential osu vs Michigan rematch alone is worth the risk.

Could you imagine the ratings on a osu Michigan rematch? Whew..

We drew 17 million 2 days ago and we'd probably draw the biggest viewership of all time with a rematch.

Hopefully everyone funded the big 12 and pac 12 refs?

Ask Georgia who the two teams are that they would least want to face: Answer is Bama and USC. I can just make up stuff, too.

The Bucks have been thumped twice by TTUN in the last 12 months. In between, Georgia dominated TTUN. They aren't afraid of tOSU.
You put words in my mouth. I didn’t say they would be afraid of them. But OSU is a tougher out with loads more talent than TCU or USC.
