I agree.

Assuming TCU doesn’t get prison raped.
One loss team that played for a conference title.
There no way Bama slithers back into consideration is there?
There shouldn't be they lost to 2 teams that look like they are Penn State. But Bama seems to hold name clout that doesn't force them to revaluate them. I wouldn't be surprised if they are ahead of us cause they lost by less combined then we lost by or some shit like that.

If TCU or USC loses, I think we get in.

We bring big numbers, our loss would be to the #1 or 2 team rather than Kansas State and the committee can use no Treveyon today/possible JSN returning as an excuse to say a full strength OSU would be the best available team.

plus the prospects of a playoff game versus SCUM are too rich for the committee to ignore IMO

Idk why anyone would to mention this team in the CFP, let alone want to see them in it. Be happy with a Rose Bowl W yet again and get back to the drawing board. 2023 will be 11 pre season games, and then The Game.
Last thing I want to see is the better version of scUM(aka UGA) beat OSU worse

GA has looked like hot garbage in games against multiple teams that are far worse than the Buckeyes. Kent State, Missouri, Georgia Tech…

This Ohio State team is as good if not better than every team in the top four. A handful of busted plays against TSUN doesn’t change that. For all of their chest-thumping, they could just as easily have been blown out in the game that just transpired.

I get it, everyone wants to hide under a black cloud and claim the Buckeyes suck after losing to TSUN, but it’s just a very bad take this season. They absolutely belong. Bama and GA couldn’t be further away from elite teams this year. Actually, I’d say the Buckeyes could blow both of them out and I wouldn’t be shocked at all.

GA is lucky they haven’t lost 3+ games this season. The Buckeyes have won every contest outside of the last one by double digits. I don’t even want to talk about Bama and how horrible they have looked all season against bad competition.

Let’s get some realistic perspective and get down from the ledge.

The 2014 National Champs still lost to VA Tech and ran through their final three games with a 3rd string QB.

So yes, long story short… everyone should want to see this team get a shot.

Zero chance. They will put Bama in over us and we'll be further down than 5th when the poll comes out. A bowl game, maybe the Rose, is the best they can do.

yea I said in another thread I expect Bama to be ranked ahead of us Tuesday. I stand by that.

We don’t have the same benefit of the doubt clout that Bama does, fair or not

This is paraphrasing Urban Meyer, no other teams in the nation could have gone into those two ravenous environments and won either of those games and Alabama barely lost both.
