That's a good point for the lesser bowls, but I think I see our game going pretty close to the way the pundits are projecting.

I see both coaches pretty much sticking with what got them to the Big Dance. You know the old saying, "If it ain't broke, don't try & fix it."

Whining about losses being in OT, managing the game like you're playing on an XBox, and hoping to fall ass-backwards into the UM job probably aren't going to work this time.

I disagree. Every coach tries to implement a wrinkle in a bowl game........regardless of who it is. I say this for one simple reason, he knows that the other guy has had close to a month (maybe more) to study the film, and figure out tendencies.

If you think that Tress and OSU are going to come out and use the same gameplan that they did against Michigan, you are going to be surprised on January 8th. Florida did a hell of a job using that month to find the weaknesses in OSU's arsenal last year. Whatever coaching staff that does it will have the advantage in this game.

Ok.......I'm going to stray off the main topic here. FWIW, I think that Dorsey (I heard him mentioned earlier) is a bit on the overrated side of things......... I think that OSU has got to find a way to slow him down, but the guy isn't some one man wrecking crew like some (mostly the media) make him out to be. He reminds me a bit of Alan Branch from Michigan last season.........a bit of a paper tiger (no pun intended.....).

It is a good point for a lot of bowls, big or small. Underdog has won the BCS NC game more often than not.

the lines in vegas are getting closer. I think LSU is almost becoming an underdog because people seem to think that since OSU is the underdog, they will win because of the underdog status, thus that makes OSU a favorite and LSU, which is the favorite, has become the underdog...digest that for awhile.

Adding wrinkles. You bet. But I don't see Coach Miles implementing the wishbone or Coach Tressel installing the West Coast offense for the Buckeyes.

Dorsey overrated. You wouldn't know it by the numerous awards he's hauled in the past month. He certainly wasn't the same player he was prior to the chop block in the Auburn game. If he's completely healed on January 7th, I think you will see plenty of Mr. Dorsey.

You made my point for me (regarding the awards comment). I'm not saying that the guy isn't a great football player, I'm just saying that I don't think he is the super force that some make him out to be. I'm sure he'll disrupt the OSU offense, but I can't see him taking over the game......like some are implying. Hell, Gholsten has as much of a chance to take over the game as Dorsey does.

I think the most significant key to the game is how our respective offensive lines perform. Whoever wins the line of scrimmage battle probably wins the game IMO. I agree that I don't expect Dorsey or Gholsten to completely dominate and be the difference maker in the game. Influence the outcome, perhaps. Decide the outcome, probably not.
