Did you watch any of the games OSU won because, of WELLS running.:( I've been posting it over,,, and Tressel said it today in the paper . OSU is great with Wells.

Yeah I did, and OSU is great with Wells. But I think LSU will be prepared to stop the run. If we beat LSU because Wells has 250 yds rushing and 4 TD's then LSU should look for a new coach ASAP. I think Wells has to have a big game for OSU to win but our run plays need to be set up and run properly. I just don't think handing the ball off over and over and over will be that effective.

I don't know that LSU sucks against the run...they have been banged up a bit. It seems as though they win some battles and lose some, getting several TFL, then giving up a big run. though i agree that it was inexplicable giving up 206 to RunDMC, knowing that he was going to run as much as he did. That said, Casey Dick also had a decent game, coming through when they needed a play, and it will be essential for TB to do the same, at least, to be able to move the ball effectively.

I'd rather remain the underdog here. I remember last year I said how bad Chris Leak was (which I still think he is bad) and our D did a great job of showcasing his (limited) skills. I would rather big bad SEC LSU and the media think OSU is no good and played a weak schedule and is slow and have D. Byrd give us motivation material than say how we are going to run all over LSU. Just my opinion. Is Chris Wells a stud?? Yep!! But he isn't going to have a great game without a balanced attack and some great O-line work.

But then again we do have one of the best offensive lines in the nation. I agree 100% that we will have to balance our attack. Boeckman is the key to the game.
