Actually I never said he will not have an impact on the game. I said that for him to have an impact on the game OSU will not be able to be a one dimensional offense. OSU will not beat LSU being a one dimensional as they were against Michigan. Loosen up LSU 8 man front, then Wells can run crazy. I have no doubt that Wells is fearless and can deliver as good as it gets. LSU will gear up to stop Wells until it is proven there are greater threats.

The mood of the board seems to be run Wells 30 or 35 times in this game. Looking at OSU, I would stop Wells and try to make the QB beat me. He looked a bit shaky against Illinois and Michigan.

Beanie's game averages:

• Carries: 21.2
• Yards: 121.9
• TD's 1.2

He broke 30 carries in a game only twice this year (Michigan State 31, scUM 39). I see Beanie getting 25-30 carries unless OSU has a 10 point lead in the second half... then he'll get 30+ as Tressel plays clock management.

SluTiger, I agree with you. I do think Wells will have a big game if our offense is balanced right, but to think Wells is going to be dominate if all we do is run the ball is a bit crazy. It's going to be important for Boeckman to check off plays and read the D when he comes to the line. If OSU can sting LSU a few times with passes when/if they bring up 8/9 then I like the chances of Beanie breaking a few wide open runs.

Did you watch any of the games OSU won because, of WELLS running.:( I've been posting it over,,, and Tressel said it today in the paper . OSU is great with Wells.

You know it is possible that Michigan just SUCKS that bad. Hey let me save you some time for your bowl game. Teebow up the middle or Teebow throws... That is all there is to it, get after it boys..

Is this really your response? I wont dignify this with much unless you say you are serious.

LSU has had worse offenses run on them and this will be, IMO, the best RB/QB/Oline combo you will have faced all year.

Better than UM, totally agree. "Magnitude" better? Uh, no. Michigan gave up about 40 yards a game more on the ground (factoring out our 229-yard game against them) than did LSU. Not bad considering Michigan plays in the slow, plodding, rush-oriented Big Ten while LSU plays in the high-flying warp-speed aerial circus called the SEC.

Boeckman was "shaky" at Michigan because of the weather. Henne and Mallett were also "shaky". Tough to throw in a steady freezing rain...then again, SEC fans wouldn't know anything about playing under such conditions.
